Possessing an uncanny ability to apparently gain Self Confidence at the drop of a hat has often been referred to as owning the “magic bullet”.

We see it in others who effortlessly appear:

• To recognise their own self worth

• Completely stress free and without any sign of insecurity

• Free from shyness

• Great at public speaking

• Eminently successful, with no fear of 'burnout'

• To effortlessly assume postions of leadership

It isn’t something that you either have or haven’t got. And it’s unlikely that you lack it in every area of your life.

So how would it be if you were able to identify those areas where you did feel confident about yourself and “borrow” some of it to enhance other areas where you felt less so? Another thing about self confidence is that it goes up and down. One day we can feel completely at ease in a group of strangers, yet on another occasion we are overcome by shyness.

However, you can feel good, just whenever you want to.

For example, all you need do is to identify 3 or 4 things that make you feel really good. If you were to put them on a scale of 1 to 10 they should easily warrant an 8 or a 9.

Now practise thinking about them. Revisit these memories in your imagination. See them as vividly as possible in full colour. Turn up that colour and imagine the sounds that you associate with such memories. Regain those feelings;re-live all those "feel good" memorable experiences.

You see, feelings and emotions attach themselves to memories.

Keep practising this exercise and very soon you'll be able to train yourself to feel good whenever you want to
